Unbalance

"Its not always Blue "

For my 3rd project I decided to challenge my self and make a self portrait , something I haven't done . originally i was going to paint it using the original color i had for the picture i choose but i kept messing up and decided to go with the style i am use to .
The elements i used for this piece was the principle of contrast .In order to add contrast to my piece i decided to put newspaper for my back ground and then decided to choose cool colors that will make my self pop out more , so i went different shades of blue and decided to add orange as a high light .
This piece was by far the funnest piece to make , by challenging my self and trying a new technique   ive never used before .

The Animals Inside Us

For my second project based on element and space i decided to go with a completely different idea from what i originally had.   Originally i was going to do a simple piece with just straight up shapes  with monochromatic colors , Until i got a completely different idea .
I got the  idea of making a piece that would grab the viewers attention by that i went based on a women and a man  with the twist of different animals inside each character . Within the woman i choose animals that  represent beauty and elegance , withing the i choose animals that represented bravery and strength. the reason for that was peoples ideal is always about self portrait ,how we all see each other and have to have a certain standard in order to "FIT IN ". Within  the piece there is the elements of pattern and shape .  The animals fit inside li,e a puzzle piece while in every animal there is a sense of pattern and direction.

For Project 6 based on cool warm colors i decided to do a simple water color and ink piece  . there is no meaning to it but after finishing this piece i go the idea of a guy turning his life over . Being in space is like not living at all its dark and nothing around . so the name behind it means turning over by this the guy is letting out the negativity in life and turning into something beautiful . The way i used the elements of warm and cool is the color schemes i choose . for the background i choose cool colors like blues , greens and purples . For the thing coming out the mouth i choose warm colors like orange ,red and yellow .

A Touch Of Hope

A TOUCH OF HOPE  is my emotional piece the story behind is a human being trying to find hope when there is so much pain around them . When making this piece i wanted to send a message by that i added different obstacles that people might feel in there life time .
I added a blue background as a symbol of some drowning in there thoughts , Red ribbons  as a symbol of thing trying to hold you or pull you down , Broken glass of feeling broken or shattered inside when going through a crises  and for the last symbol a sunflower  for hope . Although life can be cruel at times there is always hope and beauty withing the world. this is why i choose to do this one for project 7 , it shows my personal research and thematic style

"A Sprout Of Nature"

For my first piece I had the idea to paint a women sprouting out of the ground as a tree , I originally had the idea to paint it it with realistic colors and add a natural look background . having to use the element  i decided the hair was perfect for movement  since a Goddess are known for their natural beauty and movement .
When actually starting my piece i completely changed the concept of what i originally had in mind. I decided i would use bright colors that would catch the eye , by using contrast colors that will go well together . having that in in mind I decided it will no longer be a tree growing out of the ground but a lady coming out of a geyser, giving it a desert look to the background   .
In terms of using my elements of art i used movement by tilting the women a little to the side and have the hair just flow out from the back . In terms of rhythm I used the bright colors to show how fluid and flawless the women is as if she was dancing . Although their is a form of line when dealing with the mountains in the background i wanted to give it a abstract look but yet realistic .
